“ Where do I even begin… First & foremost, I have nothing but the most joyous of words to describe, just how great of a job these people have done & do. I say with utmost certainty, that “Aroma Indian Cuisine” is #1 for providing the BEST quality of traditional Indian meals. Now, it’s not only the beautifully crafted cuisine that has me positively expressing my liking of them, it’s also a combination of the following factors: Customer service is IMPECCABLE!!! They greet their customers with smiles & kindness every visit. They’re very fluent in communicating well with everyone. Their voices are loud & clear. They also take consideration of others, and place orders into a combo (if possible) to make it reasonably cheaper for you. Which from experience, isn’t done anywhere else? They provide a “Mix and Match” feature, where you’re able to select 2 curries for one bowl/price (Which I also enjoy, considering how unique the option is & how it adds versatility to your order). The prices of their meals fall well within budget, and as a student, it’s very convenient. Their systematic performance is smooth, and fluid. Their “Plain Butter Naan” is PERFECT!!! Texture is soft, brilliantly hot, and highly flavoursome. It can honestly be eaten on it’s own. Their serving time is also very quick, essential for lunch breaks & instant satiation. Okay, so I would like to really emphasise on the quality of there BUTTER CHICKEN. I have fallen IN LOVE with this particular style over a year ago, and have since returned for more. It’s thick/creamy, the taste/aromatic scent is addicting, and overall the dish is simply BEAUTIFUL. In most areas, it’s either Quality over Quantity OR vice versa…. That is not the case here. The size of their servings, can often be of significant proportions (when compared to the name of their sizes, for example, a small for me seems like a Medium sized serving from another restaurant). My first time being served here was memorable, and in turn had me enjoying every aspect of their business. This continues to be the BEST place of Indian Cuisines for me, and if I can rate this any higher, I most certainly will. This place is a MUST if you wish to expand your tasting horizons, and would like to experience the above qualities. I assure you, they WILL NOT disappoint. Kind regards, Byron ”
“ Delicious vegan options. I had the eggplant masala mixed with the chickpea masala, good size portions for decent prices!!! Also the plain naan is vegan, and so delicious. ”
“ The best Indian restaurant in Auckland... I am in a business trip for few days and every day I used to goto Parnell from New market area to have my lunch only because of that delicious dishes that they are providing to us... And mostly the behaviour and ambiance is unmatchable... I will recommend this restaurant to all... thanks ”
“ Friendly staff. Knowledgeable and offered us to sample any of the curries prior to making a decision. (Lots of choices). We could eat there or takeaway. (They are doing a roaring trade via UberEats). Wow! The flavors were devine. For example the butter chicken and had spices in it that made it similar but so much better than 'the usual'. We were so impressed we bought another lot to take home. ”
“ This is hands down the best Indian place I have ever had, the only place that somewhat compares is "taste of India" on k road. Aroma is still better. I have 2 issues with it, I think the nan is too expensive. My second issues is when I ask for hot, they give me white hot. I understand that people think they can eat hot, and when they ask for hot its "too hot", please just give me something actually spicy. besides these minuscule complaints that don't matter to most, this is the best Indian restaurant I've been to. their curries are top tier and are a most try. ”
“ Best Indian food I've ever had. Butter chicken was tasty and you could choose flavour. Cheese garlic naan was fresh made, or at least topping was freshly melted. Friendly and patient staff. I would recommend to everyone. ”
